Cigars?
Rumor has it that Clinton's favorite flavor was "Smoked Fish"
sbc, outlaw and a few others have chatted me up about cigars, so i thought i would start a thread for us to discuss, made recommendations, talk about cigar related activies like golf, drinking, and smoking after a great meal.
this thread is for any interest in cigars, what kind you like, don't like, questions, answers, whatever.
anything related to cigars and not related to jws or religion is up for discussion.

I've smoked cigars for 19 years, since my exit from the Borg. I tried a pipe at first, but found it required too much time and effort
I've smoked $1.00 and $20.00 cigars. Years ago, I settled on Dutch Masters Presidents. Very inexpensive, but the ones I enjoy the most
By the way, I smoke the occasional Backwoods. Leave the flavored ones to the kids
after week 6:.

cincinnati @ atlanta.
Dark Side don't tell me you aren't thankful for that game.....
WOW That call will be discussed ALL WEEK!!
Even So What A Fuc^^g GAME!
Please admit ...you guys stole one......just like the Pats Tonight...
Darth, I have a completely different take...
The Steelers didn't steal anything. Yes, the call at the goal line went their way, but the officials made the call. From everything I've heard and read so far, the call was in complete compliance with NFL rules. If Miami wants to cry, they need to cry to the NFL Competition Committee. Personally, on some calls I hate the rules and on some calls I love them. This was a call and rule that I loved and yes, am thankful for. This week. If the same call goes against Pittsburgh next week, I hate the rule. Such is the nature of the NFL.
There are controversial calls, and non-calls, in every game. Did you see how, in overtime, the refs allowed the Ravens to hold up the Bills' tight end while they stripped him of the ball? Forward progress had obviously been stopped, yet no whistle. A non-call that probably cost Buffalo the game
I'm sure you remember the "Tuck Rule". Raiders fans hate the rule, just as they still hate the "Immaculate Reception" from back in the '70s. To this day, John Madden insists it was an illegal play
Yesterday, the Dolphins had every opportunity to win the game.
Pittsburgh fumbled the opening kickoff return on their own 22. Miami recovered. In 3 plays, the Dolphins moved the ball 1 yard and settled for a field goal
On Pittsburgh's next possesion, BR7 fumbled on their own 13. Miami recovered. In 3 plays, the Dolphins moved the ball 8 yards and settled for a field goal
On Miami's last possesion, after the kick return, they had the ball at their own 29 with 2:19 on the clock, 1 timeout left plus the 2 minute warning. In 4 plays, the Dolphins moved the ball 4 yards and lost the game
Good teams overcome injuries, field position, penalties and "bad" calls. Consider Pittsburgh's final drive in Super Bowl XLIII. After the return, they had the ball on their own 22. The first play was a holding call, which pushed them back to the 12. 1st and 20 on their 12, 2:24 on the clock, 2 timeouts left plus the 2 minute warning.
The Steelers drove 88 yards on 8 plays in 2:02 for the go-ahead touchdown
Arizona actually had a last-gasp chance to win. With 15 seconds left, they had the ball 1st and 10 on Pittsburgh's 44. What happened? LaMarr Woodley sacked Kurt Warner and caused a fumble, which Pittsburgh recovered. They then ran the clock out to win the game
Do I feel bad for Miami fans? Yep, I do. But the Dolphins are 3-3. They have 10 more games to prove what kind of team they are
a fascinating video that adresses the reality of satanism.
for those who doubt what i've said about my experiences with satanic cults.. .
this was done by one of the most repected investigative journalists working today.
It is demonic and poison to the mind. Especially young ones.
So why the emotional reaction to that word? If you are, you are.
Stand up and be counted.
Don't run around like a cockroach at the sight of a can of Raid.
Although you can't see it, please believe that my hand is raised as high as possible right now. Or it was right before I started typing.

news article about an assembly hall being built in the denver area http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_16411460.
By Carlos Illescas
The Denver Post
"I'm angry at the situation," said Carrelle DeSimone, who lives in Serenity Ridge, which is across the street from the proposed assembly hall. "There's a right place to build that, and it's not here."
Maybe they should build a Mosque instead

I have a feeling she'll be asking you the same question, regarding this thread, lol.
I'm sure she will
well, it's the big day.
time to go over the checklist..... .

Darkside, you agree this is a cult.
Absolutely. I'll say this and then no more, so as not to rain on Tim's victory thread
It is a HUGE deal when someone escapes. It's like escaping a death sentence.
My guess is that most posters on this forum are not captives. Those that choose to stay "in" know the truth about JWs. Leaving is not an escape, because they've known the way out and have decided to remain "in", for reasons of their own. When they do leave, it's an option that they choose
People, like me, that are not yet free of it get to live a bit vicariously through people like Tim.
People, like you, choose to remain "in"
So take your bitter anger elsewhere. Tim deserves more fanfare than we can give on this little board.
I'm glad Tim is "out". Good for him
well, it's the big day.

Tim,
I'm in no way pissing on your achievement. Good for you
I'm just curious why you require fanfare and applause for doing the right thing
i was curious, so i did the math.

I don't understand your need for acknowledgement and approval, but you got it. Congrats
